-What is the most fun thing you have ever done?-

“Over the summer, I traveled to my favorite city, Toronto, ON, Canada, with my Mom, to be on a Canadian TV show called “Celebrity-Look-A-Like”. I spent the whole day being pampered; hair cut, makeup, new clothes, to turn me into Katy Perry (who I’ve been told I look like for the last few years) all while being filmed for TV!”

-How do you like to spend your free time?-

“I’m constantly doing something with music, whether it be sitting in my best friends’ basement working on songs, or getting ready to perform somewhere; music is my life and my number one hobby. I don’t do much of anything else.”

-How did you first get interested in music?-

“As a child I was always singing along to Whitney Houston. My Grandmother would sing to me when I was around six. Hearing singers such as Whitney Houston  and Toni Braxton hit these high notes, always gave me an exciting feeling. Ever since then, music has never left me.”

-How do you like to spend your free time? Do you have any hobbies?-

“In my free time I like to sing in front of my mirror, watch or read about Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz, go for walks, write, visit with family/friends and do homework, if any. My hobbies consist of singing, writing, and reading.”

-Who would you say has most inspired you?-

“I would say anyone that doesn’t limit themselves. Life is a constant growth, this is a scientific truth, as an upcoming artist I am interested in expansion and progress. A great example of that would be someone like J-Z who has let up since the start of his career.”

- What is the most fun thing you have ever done?-

“I did a show a few months ago in Harlem, NYC. Clearly I was a minority, however, after the show, people were running up with money to buy my CD and demanding autographs. No one has ever asked me for my autograph before! I was in such a good mood I gave all the CD’s away for free!”

-What would you like to be doing five years from now?-

“I hope to be getting a degree in psychology and having a good job doing that. I hope to be living on my own adn just living my life happily. And to continue entertaining people with my voice.”

-What kind of music do you enjoy best? Any favorite performers or songs?-

“I love all kinds of music; rock, pop, country, R&B, and some oldies. I love Kelly Clarkson, Demi Lovato, Jordin Sparks, 3 Days Grace, etc. I love the diversity in the sound and the emotions in the lyrics.”

-What kind of music do you enjoy best? Any favorite performers or songs?-

“It’s hard to pick a favorite genre. I grew up listening to folk, swing, and pop/rock with some country thrown in for balance. I also love to listen to and sing classical pieces. I love to sing in French and did a recital all in French. My favorite songs are; Amoureuse by Kiki Dee, American City Suite by Cashman and West, and my all time favorite, Wildflower by Skylark.”

- What is the most fun thing you have ever done?-

“I spent a month in Europe with my husband in the 1990′s. We purchased Eurail passes that allowed us to take any train, bus, or ferry boat in Europe. We walked a lot, and ate a lot and met some fascinating people from all over the world. We went to Great Britain, France, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, and the Netherlands. My favorite place was Venice. In the old city, time ceases to exist. It could be 2009 or 1509 It is a magical timeless place that I hope to travel to again.”
